Audi Connect - Do we get all of that?
Very cool features on this video of Audi Connect. The car seems to be an S3 but avant version I believe. Do we here in US get all of that shown on the video?

Yes and no. Only the Audi Connect version gets most of all of that. Basically all cars except the "base" premium trim level can be equipped with the Audi Connect MMI system. Premium cars get the lower Base MMI or Audi with Navigation MMI systems.
Personally, I don't have this Audi Connect version and am disappointed by lack of additional apps for streaming music via pandora, slacker, etc but really hoping audi NA will upgrade the system to allow Apple Carplay and Android Auto (its been delayed about 1.5 yrs now).
I installed an aftermarket Android OS system in my car and love it mainly because I can do so much more and still use the stock controls.

I guess we do have most of the features shown on the video except these:
1. Cell reception amplification in the center console storage
2. Wireless charger in the center console storage

Seems like the cell reception box is only a UK-ish thing as I haven't seen that option for North America. The wireless charger would be nice to have, but then again I don't want to dedicate that whole space just to my cell phone - there just isn't that much storage already in the car.
Like Syrome said, I'm not convinced at Audi's "solution" to in-car entertainment. I know its gotten great PR for having 4G, but it lacks SOOO much. Why have an internet connection if you can only use it for 1/4 of what you can do on the internet. I'm still baffled as why there is no pandora/spotify built into this system. I mean most and all kia's have that as standard equipment using your phones connection. But I could see ATT veto'ing streaming data like this (it would just increase their revenue tho)

In my Lexus i had pandora and iheartradio and honestly i didnt use them much. Not a big fan of those radios anyways. The best thing to do is to load up SDs with songs you like with the best quality files and enjoy B&O to the fullest. Internet radios don't bring the best outta B&O.

I have AC and I think it's fun stuff. Especially on a RT.
I use the hot spot all the time. I love the weather app. It keeps me entertained in my car, when i'm in traffic. It's true that some/most of it is a gimmick.-> which makes it subjective whether or not it's worth the cost.

The thing I like the most is Google search. I have found it to be outstanding when I tested it on test drives. I hate all my other navigation systems that rely on the built in data base.
