I would assume they are trying to get you for not needing black optics package.

For what its worth, you're able to de-select carbon package after choosing Mythos Black. Could just be a configurator quirk, or a "pre-configured" spec.

Not me. Not much value in $2750 and CF is strictly for cosmetic reasons:

Am I the only one who wishes we could spec the aluminum optics trim they get in Europe? The satin aluminum is an RS signature.

Maybe, I don't like the silver at all. lol
I like the wheels that come with it more than the black wheels I got with mine, but it's a big no for the trim.

No, you are not alone. The satin alu trim should have been standard as it was in the past...
