2013 S5 Manual 75k miles. Burning 1qt every 3k miles. no visual leaks as far as I know. May look to correct if it worsens.

our '12 A4 failed the consumption criteria and was 'covered' under the recall for $900 for labor last year. Been fine ever since. I think MY 12 was the cutoff, but as others said try another dealer or AoA. Good luck, I feel your pain.

b8 audi are known for notoriously low distance and the extremely narrow distance for the compression rings. when the carbon deposits melt they make the ring less movable, so dont buy b8, instead buy 8.5 where engineers fixed the design
