Hello,

I just puchased an A5 V6. Loving it! The mechanic thinks there are maybe 5K miles left on my front tires. Back ones are in better shape. Any advice, should I rotate the back tires to the front for better performance?

Well you can rotate the tires front to back, but if they are that worn, and being a new preowned car, you can't be sure of what those tires have been subjected to.

Personally, I would replace all 4 just to get that good ride feeling back, and know my tires.

Or, if the backs are in great shape, you can put out less cash and just replace the fronts with the same type as the back for now, and change the rears in a few thousand miles.

A nice car like yours needs good rubber! Can't beat the feeling of a new car on new rubber!
