I had a similar situation with a new 2013 S4. First month with the car I only had it for a week.

I kept in contact with my dealer and wasn't a jerk. I understood things happen which seems like how you are handling it.

Call AoA and let them know what's up. They'll get in contact with your dealer and go over the records. AoA ended up buying back my car after they had a new one built for me.

The awesome service and treatment has obviously kept me as a customer for a few more cars since then.
