Android Auto stopped working

Android Auto stopped working
In the middle of using it, it stopped working.
Changed cables. Reinstalled AA. Restarted phone and car.
Still no go.
Any thoughts?

I see this once in a while, and find that the phone is not checked in connection manager. So, I go into it, and check it. And it works again. Not sure why /how it gets unchecked. It seems like it might be I didn't plug the phone in before it came up, and it saw my fiance's phone and wasn't sure which to use, or what it might be. (hers is an iphone, mine an android)

Selecting the phone again in the connection manager under the "Audi smartphone" category did it. Working again. I don't know why they call it Audi smartphone.
