I was going to leave DAP off my list till I saw a video with it in Traffic Jam Mode. Now it's back on the list but it further limit my selection from the local dealer stock and anything due in the next 2 months.

I am about to order a uk A5 coupe edition 1 with the driver assistance tour pack will it come with the head up display dose anyone have this option

My first car that has the HUD (besides rentals, that is) and I cannot imagine buying a car without that feature. My wife’s car does not have an HUD — and when I drive it, I miss that feature.

My Q7 has it and it was a must for the S5 SB on order. I miss it in my TT RS.

Definitely get it, not intrusive but having the speed and speed limit display is helpful, good assistance also when navigating.

My dealer as said he thinks it does not come with driver assistance pack tour .
and at the head up display is only available on the vorsprung edition

Yes! And I really like polarized glasses. I might have to try and see if I can get some lenses without polarization.
The "rainbow effect" through tinted glass with sunglasses has actually not bothered me, even when I had a tinted windshield, but not being able to see the HUD sucks!

For the benefits of HUD, it was well worth a nominal investment in non polarized sunglasses.

I agree. It's more difficult to see with polarized sunglasses. It seems that Audi should provide separate dimmer switches for the dashboard and heads up display, which could solve the problem. That said, I learned that if I move my head slightly to the right, I can see the heads up display just fine with my sunglasses. While it's not a perfect solution, it's an easy adjustment when needed.
