How to tell keys apart?

Don't know why it's different, but my keys also had the 2x label on the trunk button, as the ones linked above. What's the build date on your 2019 RS5?

2018 S5 Prestige — build date May, 2018
Original keys supplied in the photo are labeled 1 & 2. Key labeled 3 was purchased & programmed by the dealer in Late 2019 and allowed key 2 to be buried in the car for the remote start. When I ordered key 3 I supplied the part number for the master (glossy w/ chrome surround) key, not the “textured” plastic that key 2 has.
All 3 keys open the trunk by a long-hold on the trunk button.

Nov 5 '18 is mid MY19, so you're going to have MY19s on both sides of the trunk change.
The panic button just lets you set off the car alarm from afar. It's actually part of the radio frequency PR code, 5D_.
B8 used:
5D1 - 434MHz without panic button (RoW)
5D2 - 315MHz with panic button (NAR)
5D4 - 315MHz without panic button (RoW)
5D7 - 868MHz without panic button (RoW)
B9 uses:
5D1 - 434MHz without panic button (RoW)
5D4 - 315MHz without panic button (RoW)
5D8 - 434MHz with panic button (NAR)
So seems some kind of US market thing, either AoA requested or regulation. Like rear central locking switches.

Never heard of Cricut (looks interesting). However, I do have a nice-little Brother P-Touch graphics-capable thermal label printer.

2019 Q7 Prestige - one glossy key with aluminum surround, one matte black key
2022 A5 SB Prestige - two glossy keys with aluminum surround
So, it's not trim-related. They probably switched to 2 glossy keys 2019-2020.
I was lucky that I got my car soon after they were giving out two keys again.

About 95% of the time I just swing my foot under the rear end to open the trunk.
The other 5%, when I'm in the garage and do not have my key I use the trunk open button at the rear.
IOW, I don't use the remote to open the trunk/boot.
