  1. I have an RS5-SB with carbon BO, and I have no trouble kicking my rear deck lid to open.
  2. I just carefully checked my user manual (pp 37-40) and found no such statement that K2O doesn't work with carbon BO equipped cars.
Doesn't work on mine. Maybe they fixed something in later builds? What's the build date on yours?

Doesn't work on mine either. I use the quick kick in and out method that works every time on my wife's Q7. Is it maybe a different motion? Where exactly are you kicking...center, to the left or right of center?

Doesn't work on mine either (kick to open). I believe I have the black box at the rear of the car as well with the overhead camera. Will check next time in car.

Works either of two ways: 1) kick in and out in the center, or 2) swipe from one side to the other side with either foot.

My car icon is reasonably centered to the overhead camera, but is a little too far forward, so I do have a slightly noticeable black box at the rear of the car:

Small "black box" at the stern

Lol. Yes, I'm sure I'm not using method #2. I have the carbon option and my build date is: 06 2019. I've tried option #1 and several other similar methods but have never gotten it to open. But, I'm not very worried about it. On my S5 there were numerous times when I was leaning in to get something out that I accidentally activated it, and down it came....

Does the overhead view on the 2019 switch to graphic view like the 2018? Happens every day w/ mine. It's part of my startup routine now, like putting the car is "S".
The dealer acknowledged the issue, said there was a TSB, but no fix.

Which dealership is this? The TSB specifically addresses the issue of the bird eyes view not being defaulted and resolves it.

Audi Central - Houston - last time I checked (it's been a while) - there wasn't a resolution. If there is, that's great. Thanks for the info.

Please see Audi of Sugar Land, ask for the first available SA and have them look at TSB 2053028. They'll take care of you and provide you a loaner vehicle without issue.
