Safety Recall 74E3 - no remedy?
#182
@spawne32 — Not sure who your dealer is but Audi Turnersville did mine, in June of 2022 at the same time as my 4 year scheduled service. As I have the ventilated seats the entire seat pad & cover were replaced. They had the car for about 5 hours to do the PODS procedure as well as the rest of the 4 year service (including spark plugs)
End result was I could tell zero difference, before or after; no scratches or parts hanging out. According to my only passenger, the seat warming function works great as does the seat cooling (though she rarely uses it).
If your Service Techs follow the Audi Procedures documentation and take their time, it’s very possible you’ll have a similar result. Good Luck.

(As I read through this thread I was surprised to see that I had never posted my experience with getting the recall completed. That’s now been rectified — late, but rectified.)
