Top view camera select and making it default

Even the shop foreman at my dealer said there's a running inside joke that when Audi said they will have a software release in November, they have to ask what year.

Still to this day since purchasing two months ago. I have an appointment next week to take a look at this issue along with rattles/vibrations. All of which I never had in my 2018 S5 Sportback. Very disappointing when you pay much more and there are issues that your cheaper version didn't have.

No Solution In Sight
I visited my dealer yesterday and talked with the service manager about the Top View problem we all have with our Audis. After talking with the technical people at corporate the service manager told me that NO solution is available AND that corporate is indicating that one will NOT be available anytime soon. In fact, corporate's only suggestion was once the top view is active, place the vehicle in reverse before turning it off. Isn't this suggestion a direct contradiction to the manual's requirement to place car in park before turning it off? Are you comfortable with this suggestion?
The above information was given while acknowledging the the top view problem has been solved (MMI version 1320) in the cars that are currently being produced. NO information was provided as to why that version could not be provided for our cars.
So once again AUDI acknowledges the problem but doesn't seem to care if they ever provide a solution to it. After all, they already have our money and seem to be more concerned with the next guys money rather than getting repeat customers.

My source tells me they are still verifying the software update (which apparently fixes lots of other issues too), and to check back in early September.

Fronting in to a spot; putting the transmission in Reverse, Applying the Park button and then the E-Brake button has consistently worked for a friend who has an older revision of the S5 like mine.
Outside of the extra step (shifting into reverse) before pressing the park button, this doesn’t seem to be a bad workaround until Audi releases a fix.

Shouldn't even need to press the Park button. Turning the car off automatically puts mine in Park.

So now the answer is we'll probably never get it or it will be in September? Well, even if they do fix this issue eventually this will be my first and last Audi. It has a been a very bad experience between this and every single occurrence at the dealership.
