'02 Allroad electrical issue--hazard lights etc
My 02 Allroad, about a month ago, started displaying my doors as being open (except the driver door)and the windows would not work. The fuse was blown and kept going out until I replaced the interior light fuse with a higher capacity. If I keep the interior lights off the windows work fine but fuse tends to blow if I turn them on again. The door light issue is annoying but not a big deal. At the same time the car's alarm would not sound when you lock it. Two days ago the hazard lights came on by itself on several occasions and would only go off when I unlocked the car. I did have a water issue a while back (plug was cleared out by my mechanic from sunroof and water had pooled in the back right passenger floor area).
Any thoughts on whether this is fuse/control module/related to water, etc would be appreciated.

This hasn't happened to me but I have read that replacing the hazard light switch has helped with issues similar to this. Might be worth a shot.
Also, be very careful with using a larger fuse than what is called for. It could lead to burned wires or components.
