Default Not sure if this helps or not but ETKA shows ---

The s4 flange shaft part number is -

01e 409 355a Remarks - (100mm)-or- 01e 409 355 Remarks - (108mm)

The -355a part is ~$390 at impexfap. The -355 part is about 310.

The bolt is n 044 714 1 Remarks M8x80 - part is $1.52 at impex.

The ar flange shaft part number is -
01e 409 355 h Remarks (88mm)

The bolt is the same part number for both.

Default Trans is the same except for gear and ring and pinion ratios, I think the difference

is between stick and tip.

Default Even though I try to drill new or "long-holes", the star like design has pieces cut on the outside,

therefore not enough surface to drill a hole. Diameter is very much the same and holding the CV onto the Gearbox, it is only slightly off with the bolt pattern, but not enough surface on the CV to make it happen.

The long time trial wouldn't bother me because by then I would have already spares made. I will NEVER be able to sell this car ;-)

Default Yep, Thanks !! I've checked the ETKA with the same results, so the MT flange should

fit to match the bolt pattern.....another $300.00 bucks......phhhhhh.....

Default Do the seals while you're in there....

...the parts guy who sold me mine told me to use a thin film of dish soap to lube the seal housing while driving it into the tranny.
