Stongard Light
is 80 mil thick (about 1/8 inch), precut for allroad headlights. I've had it on for 10 months with no apparent discoloration.

http://www.stongard.com/sgcontent/shop.asp?MakeID=2&basemodel_ID=459</a

Installation
I had it done professionally, when I had the regular stongard package done. I did the fog lights (with the same material) myself, which was pretty easy. The deal with the headlights is to be sure and align it properly - unlike the relatively thin hood material the stickum on the lights is VERY strong. Once you remove the backing and make contact, you won't be able to slide it around or easily pull it off and start over. The fog light covers are small enough that it wasn't hard to get it aligned. The headlights are big enough that it would take some planning to get it aligned accurately.
The other thing to watch for is that you can't touch the sticky side with your fingers or it will leave a mark. Maybe I'm just too careful, but I'd let someone with some experience do it if I had any doubts.
My two cents. Hope it helps.
