just add a shift **** of my choice? How does the lock release work? What exactly are you buying?

it replaces the whole shaft, I think. You pull up instead of pushing a button.

Read the archives, if you want a cool one put an '01 on yours...many have done it

I'm thinking about it, since I want to brush the finish on my shift bezel. While I have it off I could swap out the shaft at the same time. I think a round ball without the big button would really look good. Thinking either the Momo in the photo or maybe a plain round wooden one. Pics will be posted if I go with it.
