Default Need some help. No more 'beep' when I lock the car after 710N install.

I swapped out the 710B's for 710N's last night and have a couple questions.

First, the vacuum hoses are different. Pass side is a thick rubber one. Drivers side is a thiner rubber one with a cloth sheath. I found that strange, and the fabric one was a it harder to put back on without tearing at the fabric.

Secondly, after the install, everything seems to be fine, but when I lock the car now it just locks. The flashing lights and beep are gone. I'm not sure how that could've happened since I didn't deal with any electricals. And it still flashes and beeps when I unlock the doors.

Any ideas?

Also, any interest for a write-up. I took some pictures.

Default Now *that's* systems integration!

:-D

As xtreetoes says, you have an open door somewhere. Open and slam all the doors, and then try relocking.

Default don't feel dumb I had learned that one myself in order

to be able to post the idea.

when I did that, I was impressed that the hood latch was integrated into the alarm.
