Default Is there a flag in the ECM or TCM

that you can set to automatically "reset" the module every time you start the car? The difference in response from start is dramatic (at least to me) when I remember to do the accelerator trick before I start the car.

I know I can fix this with a chip (or two), but don't want to have any warrenty issues.... Do we know what the little switch below the accellerator pedal does when you push it? Does anyone have any othe ideas on how to automate that trick?

Default That's what I like about this forum...

... is interesting new ideas to make these cars better. I, too, would be happy to have an "automatic TCM reset" function. Maybe the Bentley manual (or VAG-Tool library) have hints.
