I imagine any donations you receive will help pay for the expenses you incur in the maintenance of this site. I am sure many have benefited from your having created it. Where would a person send them?

There is a paypal link in the upper right corner of the new site or the landing page has a link (allroadfaq.com). Any money that comes from the donations has been used to pay for the expenses - period.
I hope you will find time to post an article or weblink and help others... the content has been all user generated. Once you have created a user login you will see submission form links on the left. If you registered at the site before, your credentials still work.

will this do as a discussion for allroadfaq?
here is an interesting suggestion about tire size.
You can skip the math part and read the bottom line below/ based on my oem size winter and 235/45/17s for summer tires.
the radius of the oem wheel is 8.5 inches (17/2). or 21.59 cm.
together with the stock tire, 225/55, or 22.5cmX0.55 you add 12.375 cm to the radius giving you a total of 33.95 cm radius.
this yields an interesting ratio of radius to distance covered per revolution.
plug the radius into the 2(Pi)r equation and we get 213 cm (84 inches) covered per revolution.
as for the 235/45 wheel it gives us a radius of 32.165 the 2PIR gives us 202 cm per revolution. about 79.55 inches.
thus it takes about 796.5 tire revolutions to cover a mile with 235/45/17s and it takes 754 revs for a 225/55/17 tire.
BOTTOM LINE
giving us a difference of 42 revolutions or while you will be at a mile mark with 754 revs with 225/55, at same 754 revs youll be at 0.94 miles with 235/45s a 6% loss of distance.
I am not sure how tire size affects engine performance, if the size of tires will affect power output

Any audi or allroad conversation will do at allroadfaq...
Size matters and I've always tried to match rolling circumference to stock. Reduces speedo error and keeps performance expectations.
