Boost Function Etron?
Several of us have had to deal with this and it seems like once fixed, the vehicle is back to normal.
The only real concern will be "having to slum it out in a Q3" or equivalent loaner while they're working on your vehicle

Best of luck!
As for the loaner, I started in Q3, but the dealership told me they’d call me when something bigger came in. A couple days later, they put me in a Q8. It’s got a basic trim (lacking a lot of the bells and whistles in my e-tron), but it’s a comfortable car. As I drive it more and more, I wonder if I shouldn’t have just gotten one of those. Lol. It’s thirsty on the gasoline, but it’s getting me from A to B while meeting the range on its GOM. 🤣

Get your e-tron fixed: hopefully you have a good dealer who will look after you. The issue is that they need good techs and some special equipment to get the battery out of the car. Could take some time to get that lined up...
Best of luck!
And, I'm a dedicated German car person, so not at all unbiased and only one voice on the intra-webs...
As far as highway range goes, you really need to put this into perspective: the Audi listed range is (typical of the German car companies) conservative. The listed Tesla ranges are the opposite: absolute best cases.
Real world efficiencies (and hence, effective highway ranges) are only about 10% different (they are better in terms of the Model X vs. the E-tron for sure). the flip side is that there are other things such as the far superior creature comforts in the E-tron, it's absolutely dialed AWD (e-tron is phenomenal in the snow if that's important to you), amazing climate control and the fact that winter range degradation is minimal. I'm not saying that there aren't differences, but they're no where as big as they're made out to be.
The E-tron is the first step for VAG and already the MY21 product is delivering 8-10% increased range over the MY2019 with almost zero actual hardware changes. It all just depends what your priorities are. You can see from the same Teslabjorn videos that the new Porchase Taycan is actually (in specific configurations) approaching Tesla Model 3 ranges which is pretty awesome.

These are not true double blind tests, but they are probably close enough to real world that they're going to be relatively accurate. Seems like VAG actually does have a bit of a clue as to what they are doing with BEVs.
Good luck with your decision!
