Also, reading online it seems Audi switched to Samsung cells sometime in 2021, but that doesn’t align with this recall. Was the switch to Samsung only in Europe?
I have a 2022 Etron S mfg date of 10/21 and on the NHTSA website and Audi website only shows the charging cable recall and not the battery recall....Not sure if the S had a different battery?

This must not apply to the S's, seeing a few of the folks here have build dates in the window of the recall. On the NHTSA site, I too show only the charging cable recall, though my S has a build date of 3/22. (the recall specifies e-tron's built until 3/11/22 though.)

OBD adapter for the app Car Scanner ELM arrived last night.

Looks like it has access to cell level voltages and temperatures. At 8% SoC indicated after my commute and sitting for 4 hours the cells were all within 0.012v and all reporting 14-15% SoC.

However cells 31-40 were all showing a temperature 7 degrees warmer than the rest of the pack and warmer than the coolant temperature. Not sure if that is meaningful yet.

Will collect more data this morning. Pack finished charging to 90% about 3 hours ago.

The emotor was replaced at 53k in 2022. Should be fun seeing what happens
glad to hear everyone is safe. Out of curiosity were you able to capture any photos or videos? Would be interesting to see. No worries if not

did not get any videos or photos was more worried about my wife and dogs. When fire department was on site they had me pop the hood and there was no visual damage only thing they could see was with an infrared camera a fuse panel was hot. Nothing else was hot.

we have one picture that just shows the car from the distance smoke was already kinda gone.

Out of interest, do you have a wired in dashcam to the same fusebox or any other aftermarket items/
Not unheard off back in the day where dashcams fused directly or bad fuse taps would get hot/start fires.

I have nothing of the sort. Aftermarket or any thing wired in at all.

heard from Audi Rocklin ca seems they say it’s battery damage or from battery. They said waiting to hear from corporate might take a week. I’m guessing they are trying to prove it’s not them at fault. So I have not called insurance prob do that today. Prob also contact the ppl that replaced my emotor / corporate when that was under warranty.

They had to quarantine the car in back lot with caution tape. When I get my belongings I’ll take some pictures
