OK, I pulled the trigger on one today. I wasn't going to buy one, but then got seduced by it on yet a third test drive.
$ 73.000 was the final price for new, plus a $ 799 processing fee (typical for northern virginia dealers) on a MSRP of $ 84,230. I keep the Federal Tax Rebate of $ 7,500, Mine was a buy, not a lease.

10% off a premium plus in Chicago. I paid cash, but if i was willing to finance at 0.99% there was another $1000 rebate from Audi FS on the table. They also told me I'd receive a prepaid Visa gift card from AoA that is supposed to be mailed to me in 6 weeks. I don't have any hard documentation on that program, but I will ask for it before pickup tomorrow. I was told it was no forms to fill out or submit, it would just happen.

That additional $1k incentive equates to a final interest rate of 0.43% on a 60 month term. Given that low rate, wouldn't it make sense to finance and put your $70k in a low risk liquid investment (e.g. Vanguard Money Market) at 2% interest?
