ED Dealer in Central FL or NC
Hello everyone. We are looking to take ED of a Q5 in October 2014. After reading the posts here and elsewhere, it seems we are starting none too soon. Can anyone recommend a dealer in Central Florida(Sarasota-Tampa-Orlando area)or in Carolina Piedmont (Charlotte-Winston-Salem, even Roanoke, VA)? Like everyone we want a dealer familiar with the process but who also will not try to rip us off.(e.g. charging a delivery fee.) Please post here or message, whichever you prefer. Thanks, GS

Not sure what you mean by "delivery fee", but even with ED standard transportation fees still apply. Audi does ship your car and deal with customs clearance so you pay the same transportation fees as non-ED buyers.

When you say "delivery fee", you still need to pay the same "destination charge" as anyone else purchasing a new car, but there should be ZERO additional costs from your end for doing ED. You just need to find a "willing" and knowledgeable dealership, then all of the paperwork and negotiations should be straightforward at 5% off MSRP. You can try negotiating more, but it sounds most dealerships are pretty firm in that set price.
I just did my ED a few months ago on our SQ5, feel free to send me a message if you have any specific questions. You are probably still a few months out before you can place your order, but if you are like me you can start planning out your trip.
Watch out for the German holiday in early October, plus you may want to check to see if the factory may be closed any days around that time as well. Good luck!!!

maybe he think "advertising fee" - those should not charge for ED cars.
