Default HELP

New to the forum! I'm in the final stages of ordering an A7 for ED and the hold up for the last week or so has been clarity on the front license plate mounting for driving while in Germany. I live in a state (MI) that does not require a front license plate and I really do not want one. I've been informed by AudiUSA ED department that the car will ship to the US with the front license grill. The dealer can not give me a clear cost or estimate on what it will cost to have the car's grill swapped back to no license plate. Anyone here have any experience in this. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new car!

There are a couple threads in the A7 C7 section about the front plate holder. Some buy out of state cars and some want to change the color. You can swap the filler plate section to get what you want.

The front plate is required in Europe. When you get back you can buy a new "filler" plate to replace the plate mount and install it yourself. It is simple. I bought one for my S4 for around 80 dollars (if I remember right).
