Default Parasitic draw

The battery drains out after a few days,I've searched through every thing I can think of,but the other night I was sitting in the car waiting for the interior light to turn off, when it did,I noticed the that door handle lights were still on,you know, the ones that illuminate the buttons for the window switches. So are these supposed to turn off on their own? This would make sense to the reason for the draw.

Default I'm pretty sure they stay on until you open the doors.

It wouldn't be enough of a draw to drain your battery that quickly anyway.

Have you load tested the battery?

I guess you've already pulled the after-run pump relay?

Load tested the battery,,,it's new.

I'm afraid I did not pull the after-run pump relay,,,I said I've done everything I could think of,,,didn't think of that, admitedly,I didn't know of it.

Default I would consider it the first place to look

Someone posted a picture of it recently on here. I'm too lazy to stfa for you. I had an intermittent problem long ago, that nearly left me stranded on a couple of occasions. Replaced the relay and no more trouble. It was always sneaky, as whenever I made a point to monitor the car for long periods, it would never click on.

Ok the little lights stay on after you open the doors and close them, the interior light stays on for a bit then turns itself off, however the button lights stay on.I can't see this as being normal.

Default My stereo installer did something once that left those lights on...

all the time and yes, it did drain the battery enough the car wouldn't start if it sat for a few days. Took me a little while to figure it out, but that was the cause. Wiring them back properly fixed it.
