Default RS2 injectors question

After a spirited drive this morning, I parked car to have lunch. Came out (didn't notice huge fuel spill under car) started it and noticed my air/fuel ratio at about 12 at idle..... opened hood and noticed injector #2 spraying fuel everywhere. It was leaking right where injector goes into the fuel rail. So I thought oh well, just injector o-rings... not so bad. Got some o-rings, made it home, and went to change them. After changing them I noticed that I still have a leak on more than one injector, again at the same location the fuel rail.

Do I have a bad fuel rail or do I need injector hats / adapters that I never before used and was fine????

Bosch injectors I have are part # 0 280 155 868. I thought they are supposed to fit the AAN fuel rail without any adapters...correct??

Sorry but those injectors are NOT real RS2 injectors. Have to suspect that they are supercharged GM 3800 V6 injectors that 034 Motorsports sells as "RS2" injectors. IIRC, there are issues with injector length and/or the clips such that fitment can be problematic.

Here are real 20VT injector PNs and flow data:

200 20VT and early S2 3B: Audi PN 034 906 031, Bosch PN: 0 280 150 737

UrS AAN and S2 ABY: Audi PN 034 906 031 B, Bosch PN: 0 280 150 951, flow:
280 cc/ min @ 3.0 bar (= about 26.7 lb/hr at SG = 0.72)
315 cc/ min @ 3.8 bar
323 cc/ min @ 4.0 bar
361 cc/ min @ 5.0 bar

RS2 ADU : Audi PN 034 906 031 F, Bosch PN: 0 280 150 984, flow:
360 cc/ min @ 3.0 bar (= about 34.3 lb/hr at SG = 0.72)
405 cc/ min @ 3.8 bar
416 cc/ min @ 4.0 bar
465 cc/ min @ 5.0 bar

If there was an injector seat issue you could use THIS post as a guide

Thanks for the info Dave.

I also spoke with Marc at EFI Express and he did confirm that the injectors I have are a little shorter than stock. He recommended I shave off about 1.5 mm from the mounting bracket that mounts the fuel rail to the intake manifold which would in turn make the injectors seat better in the fuel rail.
