Default Tranny 1st gear replacement
Does anyone know how much the 1st gear is to replace in the tranny?

The trouble is first gear is not a separate piece. Its part of the main shaft. = $$$

Default About $4000 for the dealer to install the 105J main shaft
which has the wide 1st gear. i know because i have the receipt.

6 speed is about $3k, and you can do it yourself in a good solid day.

Default My mom's S6 just had that done, it was i think 2000$ or so, BUT.....
we also got another trans for 500$ just swapped the shafts from the "new" one to ours, so either have spare trans or one that just needs another shaft.
