I've made the changes using Obdeleven but not working for Android Auto. I've enabled the beta options in android so I have an option for enable wireless projection in my android auto options but this still hasn't worked.

Anyone have any other ideas to get this working?

No, unless connected wireless through Bluetooth. If you connect via cable, it should be great fidelity.

So, when I purchased my Q8 this spring, the salesman caught my attention saying that there was WIRELESS Android Auto. I thought GREAT - until a week or so later when I tried to wireless connect my S9+.

Later, I read somewhere (here?) that it would be wireless only with certain phones (Pixel?).

Any updates?

There is simple instructions on youtube how to use android auto wireless, but you need Samsung s8/9/10 or note.

I have audi a6 c8 50 tdi with note 9 and i cant do it. If you know how to configure let me know

Perhaps I shouldn't expect (Android) wireless at the 100K price point !

Having said that... just read something today that indicated, in the US, Porsche owners are WAY more likely to be drinking the iPhone Kool-aid, as 91% use an Apple device !! So, one could safely assume that at least a slight majority of Audi owners favor iPhones as well.
