I do not remember, but will guess the pins are different sizes to make it easier. I do not remember that as a issue to install.

I found this one that was interesting, however I am unsure of the company. This one you don't add wires between the existing wiring and the projector, just snaps in. No clue either if it's 1 piece, 2, 4.

DO NOT buy from this company. I ordered these lights from an nearly identical site (same "About Us" page, but different url). I received knock-off lights that were different than those pictured, which arrived directly from China. Company did not respond to multiple contact attempts with intent to return the counterfeit item. I contested the credit charge and my money was ultimately refunded by my credit card company.

Thanks for the warning. I’ll avoid them. Is there a particular vendor or product that is low cost, has the light rings exactly like the OEM and will plug in on the q8 with no adapter wires?
