I just don't have the time to make the ashtray area look slick enough to satisfy me.

I love having the analog pot volume ****, but I rarely use the thing to its capabilities (kinda does some bass attenuation (which is why I want a qbass remote).

Anyway, I've been quoted $150 to do a custom panel there, but it just isn't worth it to me. So the ashtray is going back in.

Anyone know what these things go for? I've seen the used 245's still fetch over $200 on ebay. I'm thinking in the $125-150 range...it really is a sweet piece...minor cosmetic stuff, but it could easily be touched up.
