Looking at a 2002 1.8T
Hey am looking at buy a 2002 1.8T just wondering what it cost if the Turbo lets go, and any other common problems. 1st Audi so any help would be great

I think you need to do a bit more research before you start posting or...
even begin looking at buying an Audi.
If you did any research at all you would know that a standard Audi engine is built to the highest levels of German technology and design.
Audi engine outputs are low compared to their competitors when you compare engine sizes - the benefit being the engine and turbo last much longer than their competitors.
Audi also hold a number of industry awards for their mechanical longevity - read their mechanical components last longer than their competitors when tested back to back under the same conditions
I think you look into the BMW range maybe...
