Just wondering if they are worth it? I use Zaino with there applicators but I am going to have to replace them this summer and want to know what to buy.

MF applicators are a bit expensive to toss, but the cotton one's (like the Zaino ones) are available for about $1/ea. at my local auto parts store. They work fine for me. I've also recently started using Z6 to moisten the pad before applying Zaino. I continually spray the applicator with Z6 when it starts to dry out. The Z6 help lubricate the pad, and help me apply the Z2 in very thin layers...works great. I really don't see a need to switch to microfiber applicators...if anything, they are more absorbant, which in this case might be a bad thing.

It seems like microfiber doesn't like to let go of whatever it is holding so it was harder to work with than foam pads are. The foam just lays down a more even coat and you waste less since you can get more out of it (IMO).

I use Meguiar's foam to apply wax too. I don't see any reason/need to change.

Not for applying wax, but they are great for thin coats of polish or glaze.

I prefer foam for wax application. I do like the MF for GEPC appilcation though.

I prefer a foam Meguiar's pad that has been nicely marinated in #26 paste
