Default Samsung A650 is all over those 2 models. Prices are coming down more this week.

Sony hacked 800 dollars off the 52" xbr6 and it hasen't even hit the stores yet.

Default I STRONGLY disagree. The equivelent Sharp model did not look as good as my 52XBR5

and I adjusted the settings on both TV's myself.

That combined with all their reliability and "square box" issues made me skip them in the 52" size. Smaller might be a different story though...

Then yes. Image retention on plasma is no longer a major problem, but heavy gaming not recommmended
