Default F1 Racing magazine seems to indicate a preference for middle east venues

The logistics of bringing teams across the Atlantic for just one race is viewed as too much work. With new tracks- Singapore night race last week- coming onto the scene, North America is looked at as 2nd rate market. Leave it to Bernie to thumb his nose at us.

Default Brazil has extrordinary fan base and the trip pays off. They don't want to lose it.

On the other hand US was "new" market and they were losing money (or not making any significant progress in the last 7 or 8 years) This includes Canada as well.
They'll be back soon for sure. Still, it sucks to wait.

There is like 2 sports news that pass in brazil. Soccer and F1.

Canadian GP was one of the few that sells out. I don't get it.

I know. Nothing against Brazil, I'm just trying to rationalize the argument above.

You think there is a chance the U.S. gets a race in '09? That would be great but I'd rather go to Montreal.

Montreal trip is better in all regards, except for ticket/hotel price.
