Default to paint or powdercoat???

planning on doing one of the above on my 19" RS4 reps for the spring in a deep bronze. Plan on matching the pinstripe on the grill in the same bronze color and painting the calipers black to get rid of the red. wondering if I will have issue painting(chipping, durability, etc)or should I go the powder coating route for durability. TIA!

Default Paint won't last forever like powdercoating should

I have painted wheels myself and they scratch very easily.

Default I guess my issue would be if I get tired of the color is it hard to change to something different

if powder coating? I have a buddy at a body shop so repainting would be quick and cheap. I havent really researched powder coating. is changing color and re-application just as easy?
