Race rental wanted at Laguna Seca in November -
Posted this in Off-Topic (because I wasn't paying attention!) Gonna post this on the SCCA SFRegion page too:
Looking for an Improved Touring, Showroom Stock, NASA SRX7 or similar to rent for a weekend at Laguna Seca in mid-November. Prefer small bore (VW, Nissan, Neon, BMW, Mazda etc.) - not looking for a big HP grenade but rather a good, reliable FWD /RWD car with a cage and decent safety equipment that'll run at 7/10ths to 9/10ths all day long.
Instructing at a Pro School at Laguna Seca, but I'm NOT towing 6000 miles - I'm planning on riding the aluminum tube coast-to-coast, and am looking for an 'arrive-and-drive'. Gotta have a muffler that meets LS's sound requirements, gotta have decent (but not great) tires, and it's gotta have a roof (no roadsters).
Experienced Nat'l & Pro licensed racer, instructor with numerous pro and club schools, major enduro experience (which means I usually bring the car back to pit lane running and in one big piece instead of dead and in many little pieces). Race rental references available.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm three for three so far this season in the Pinto. All these guys around here are really pissed at me right now.
