my friend has had the same green plate on his last 4 cars. as long as it's not damaged you can transfer it to your new car.

Check here. It's not listed in either minor or major violations. Are you dumb enough to keep contraband in there? You do realize that motorists have some of the lowest levels of protection against searches as anyone. The threshold for probable cause is very low. Cops who find drugs in cars that they pulled over for minor traffic offenses are rarely held to have illegally searched.

I bought a green reproduction plate from www.licenseplates.tv and had them put my current red plate number on it....so..now I have only one green plate on my car with the number that was on the red plate. The plate costs a few bucks but it's extremly legit looking. You just have to wait until you renew your registration to use it so you can put the new year sticker on it.<ul><li><a href="http://www.licenseplates.tv/prod/1977_massachusetts_s_2084.html">MA green plate</a></li></ul>

So if your number is '1234AB' but is on a green plate, any half-intelligent cop will realize it's a fraud. If you have a 3 digit / 3 letter plate then you're fine, though.
