Default Need help with ignition switch replacement in Brighton

Is there anyone that can assist me with an ignition switch replacement on a 92 100CSq?

It should be the same procedure for 100/200/S4/S6 as they all have similar instrument clusters. The problem is that I can't get the instrument cluster out to access the switch. I pulled all the necessary screws but it seems to be binding on the bottom. I've read all the FAQ's and I think there should be enough slack in the harnesses to see the back of the IC.

thanks.

Thanks,

Here's an update.

Cluster is out. The FAQ never mentioned anything about a lip below the cluster. That's where it was binding. I had to lift the cluster slightly and muscle it out.

Switch is also out. Now it's time to get the new one in.

To be continued.......

It's done. Thank you for offering to come down.

I tried every possible angle to get the switch out and finally it came out. Getting it back in there wasn't that bad. i just had to remember how the harness folded back in there.
