Thule or Yakima?

Thule or Yakima?
Just the crossbars, surfboard carrier and fairing (very discreet).
Opinions? Previous experiences?
I had Thule on the Jetta and was happy with how well it stood up over time.
Thanks

Don't think you would go wrong with either.....I've had my Thule set over 18 years
just keep changing the foot kits. The Yakima might be a little more aerodynamic and quiet, but I think they're both top notch.
From what I've seen the Yakima seems to be a little more expensive, but I think the real key is which one has a model that fits your needs best. I don't think you'd go wrong with either one.

i sold and serviced both brands since 1985, ... i prefer yakima, ...
you won't go 'wrong' with either. both are top quality.
yakima is usually a step ahead in the 'common sense' department.
yakima is USA, and much much easier to deal with in customer service, and repair/replacement parts.
the round crossbars are stronger, and allow a more precise fit for many cars and accessories
