AUX and Bluetooth not detecting

AUX and Bluetooth not detecting
Hi Everyone,
Hope someone can help me. Im new to this Forum. Just bought a 2011 Q7 s-line and i am trying to connect my ipod nano (7th generation) via the audi aux cable that you plug inside the glove box but it does not detect the ipod. I troed to connect via bluetooth also and it says unable to detect any devices.
but when i turn the bluetooth on my phone on it detects but not able to play media. Im have been researching online and alot of videos says to go to the Hidden green menu by pressing SETUP + CAR
But when i do that nothing happens. The firmware version also HNAV_US_P0114_D1
is there anything can be done to fix this?any help would be appericiated.
