Poll: Verizon or Cingular?
Apparently, my 2-year contract with Verizon is up. My fiancee works for Genentech and they have some pretty good discounts for Cingular phones and service.
I must admit that I'm pretty satisfied with Verizon with my LG flip phone. No problems at all and the service was good (except for Tahoe sometimes).
Kinda scared because I've heard some horror stories with Cingular. Any thoughts?

In SF go Verizon. Cingular sucks in SF. AT&T was on par w/ Verizon, but coverage has
declined since the merger and converting customers to the Cingular network.
Other areas of the bay could be different.

Sucks in south bay too. Had Cingular when I moved up here, couldn't get reception
around home. Switched to AT&T, had no problems. Now that it's back to Cingular, it's back to sucking.
