Default Where can I find a good tire shop in the Bay Area?

I know how everyone loves Tire Rack but I was wondering if anyone knew of shops in the Bay Area has lower prices? I am looking for replacements for the b6 sport pkg wheels. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Default Wheel Works price matches the Tire Rack ads, however...

make sure they have the proper equipment to mount and balance. The Wheel Works in San Leandro on Hesperian and Lewelling managed to gouge all four lips of my BBS RX wheels which they attributed to a faulty tire mounting machine versus human error. It took me two days of haggling with them before they finally agreed to have my wheels refinished.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for.

Default I dunno... TireRack is pretty well-priced IMO...

They'll also drop ship your tires to the nearest approved installer for you. So have them shipped to Rennwerks, Custom Alignment or whomever and you'll be pretty assured of damage-free installation.
