I.D.G.I.....A5/S5 'vertibles....5 engine choices mentioned...

...I havent' seen anything mentioned about B8 A4/S4 "cabrio's". Is the A5/S5 going to replace them for the convertible in the lineup? Or are they an addition?

How is the S5 convertible any different than an S4 convertible?

or will this BE the only convertible on the B8 platform?

I'm pretty sure its replacing the A4/S4 cabs...same platform and all

Otherwise it would be pretty redundant

That's my thinking, but I found no mention of it in articles I have read

relating to the release of the A5/S5. And no mention of the "demise" of the A4/S4 'vertibles.

My concern is more for the base A5 and A4, where the entry level price..

...for an A5 comes in $10K more than an A4.

The entry price looking at the previous A4 convertibles was pretty decent. But doing away with the A4 convertible, shifting to an A5 puts an automatic jump of $10K to get into an Audi convertible.
