Default Agree. But in some situations, its better than nothing.

I'll never take my car to a brush or brushless car wash (cuz of the scratches, as Jake pointed out). But there's been times when my car has been extremely filthy, and I have no time to wash myself, so as a last resort, I'll go through the touchless.

But even with the touchless, I try to avoid them as much as possible... they may be touchless, but they use even harsher chemicals than normal car washes, and I'd prefer to minimize the amount of those chemicals on my car.

Default I just hand washed my car at a Brown Bear last night. Only cost me $4.00 and it looks better than

the machine. I only use the hose and soap, I don't use the brush. I always bring my own bucket and fill it up and wash by hand.

Anyway, thanks for the tip on the free wash.

Its usually in the wintertime that I end up going there, after a couple muddy trips to Mt Hood.
