Default Very OT question.....UPS/surge suppressor batteries......anyone ever had the opportunity to replace

these? Was curious if anyone has had success sourcing these locally? I prefer local first before buying online if it is even possible. I need it for personal use and not for a business.

TIA.

Battery Exchange in PDX. Great prices, too.

Default You can usually open those up (unplugged from the wall) and replace the dead battery

I've gotten mine from Interstate Batteries. Just read the model number off the battery to them.

http://www.interstatebatteries.com/estore/default.asp</a

Default Called them, and they don't do UPS batteries for a home setup.

But they did recommend Atomic Battery, which I visited today.

They had the dual replacements I needed in stock at $22/ea, $10/ea cheaper than Interstate Batteries that GoCougarsWSU recommended.

They have a retail shop located right on the interchange of I-405/I-167 in Renton, and open on Saturdays till noon.

Shop is a hole-in-the-wall, but the guy told me they are really big in the area for wholesale business to all the golf courses and other businesses. Definitely a place to remember for what I needed, and for car and marine batteries.
