That situation was uncalled for, but the roads are for cars, not for sharing.
period.
Cars do not need to "share" the roads. Bikers need to be mindful of holding up traffic.
I have friends who bike (Adam and others) and I give them plenty of room, but it's also their responsibility to not hold up traffic. I'm sorry, but if you can't keep pace, get to the gym before you bike on the road.
