Ok so after around a year of saving money and driving my inlaws extra car i have finally got enough to fix my Audi for the second time. First time i had a t-belt tensioner fail and had the head rebuilt and stuff. Then around 3 months after that i had my oil pump seaze on me and split my timing belt in 2 so I got a new oil pump in tonight but after puting it in and tightening the 2 bolts it wouldn't spin from the intermediate shaft. So i loosened the bolts and viola it spins. I noticed a little room of play so i moved it around and tryed a few postions then tightened it down again and it spins now. I am real worried about this as I don't want it to settle or move back into that stopped position. Any ideas on why it would act like this? I haven't put the head on yet and am nervous to finish anything if I am going to have to take it apart again.
