BOV???

I have heard that BOVs can screw up some stuff when you put them on... I have a A4 B6 1.8t, does anyone have one that could give me some info: Pros, cons, good brands. Thanks!

BOV's can only operate venting to atmosphere if you have a standalone computer that doesnt expect

air to be recirculated back into the intake tract. You can however take the 'blown off air" and reroute it back to the intake tract vs. atmosphere and they operate like the stock valve. Some BOV's are of higher quality than the recirc valves available for higher HP cars, I have made them work very successfully, but most dont/wont try, because ??. They will work, but you need to understand the system to make them work! Which is probably why most say to stick with stock piece. And if you are not moving a lot of air, it isnt really needed, especially if you just want to hear a 'whooosh'.
