You'd have to hook it up to your MAP-ECU thingy....

And based off of it's readings, calculate MAF, and compare it to what the MAP-ECU says the input Hz is.

do you think

that the hertz will remain linear?

Like lets say this.

Lets say I figure out that the maf is reading 22 lbs/min at 3000 rpms, stock and at that its 2100 hz.
Then at 3100 rpms its at 23 lb/min, 2200hz. This is just an example.

So can we say that for every 1000 rpm, there is a 100hz incriment.

You think it would remain linear?

Don't know....

Voltage MAF meters aren't linear. They do get somewhat linear at high-flow values though.

Try and get like 10 data points, and graph a curve. You can then figure out how to alter that curve.

i'm sure that piggy back ecu vendor would provide an initial map, using inhouse spreadsheets for those calc's. lots of info on speed density systems on the net.

it came with a map

and it has an autolearn feature.

We can only autolearn it on the 14b though
I we try to autilearn it on the 20g, we will hit fuel cut.

ask 'em for a conservative map for the big turbo, based on max expected boost and rpm, and big inj size. auto learn not an option here. lots of dyno time with wide band. also need to verify eng will start properly with big inj's.
