European Car 1.8T Contest,...
Who will be competing in the 1.8T contest that European Car is holding? I'm quite curious to see what's out there!!! We need an Audi to win!!!
And anyone else who knows of any other insane 1.8T's or entries, please tell post a response! Thank you!

Hey,
Sorry I didn't get your name,... but the turbo has worked out well. The low end on the car is about the same as the old T3/T4 setup, but the high end surely has more pull. I will be installing the nitrous kit back into the car and then tune it so it helps out on the low end and diminishing in the high end. The race engine is getting put together with all the internals with the solid lifter cams and that will be the engine for the competition. But there's still a few electrical problems with the car, but it is mechanically sound. This car seems to rev more freely than the last car. Installing the AEM EMS with the new wiring harness will certainly solve our problems.

Hey Mike,
I hope you and Juan got everything figured out. How do you find the 2.0L conversion in your car? I drove a T-28 2.0L A4 in my area and honestly, the low end was not enough to make me want to change the stock displacement. What's on your car right now?

T28 is way too small for the 2 liter.
It tops out like a K04 does on a 1.8. I should have a new turbo going into my car very soon. Right now I just have the K04 which cant put out more then 1 bar of boost running at the track. The new turbo should get me in the 450-500 hp range.
