Default how do I check if my rear differential still has oil in it??? NEED HELP

My car has a strange sound coming from there? Do I need oil or some type of lubricant refill?

Default 17mm key. Get the fluid from the stealer or redline...

Wipe off outside. Unscrew the giant allen head in the side of the diff on a level surface. Insert level finger or q-tip. Fluid should be present.
